Navicat Cloud could not connect and access your databases. By which it means, it could only store your connection settings, queries, model, snippets, chart workspaces and virtual group; your database passwords and data will not be stored to Navicat Cloud.
Navicat Cloud uses Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) for all online storages. Files are stored using 256-bit AES encryption and transferred over a SSL secure tunnel between Navicat and our cloud service.
Two-step verification is an additional security feature that provides an advanced authentication solution for your Navicat Cloud account. Even if any failures happened on your computer and mobile devices, once your files are synced to the cloud, all your files are kept safe.
