The Clearswift Aneesya Platform

Designed to be a cornerstone of an Information Governance Strategy, the Clearswift Aneesya Platform is the fully integrated suite of Clearswift products. The key to its operation is the Clearswift Information Governance Server (IGS). This acts as the central repository for registered items, and stores the metadata from the various information sources including those relating to tracking the information.

By undertaking Deep Content Inspection within data communication flows, including email, web and on the endpoint, the Aneesya Platform enables organizations to identify, manage and protect their critical information, whether it’s stored within an organization’s perimeter or in the cloud. Aneesya is an open platform and one of its key features is the ability, through the Clearswift Gateways, to transform information to meet policy. We call this process Adaptive Redaction. 

Clearswift Information Governance Server

With the ability to track hundreds of thousands of documents and monitor billions of communication transactions, the Clearswift Information Governance Server (IGS) lies at the heart of the Clearswift Aneesya Platform. Deployed centrally in an organization, it integrates with your own environment for enterprise single sign on and support for Clearswift SECURE Gateways, augmenting their Adaptive Data Loss Prevention functionality.

Document owners can access the system using their existing Windows credentials to securely register and classify data with the IG Server, including textual content found in images using optional OCR scanning. Compliance Officers are given access to oversee who and what is being registered.

A key component of an adaptive DLP solution, the Information Governance Server is able to track and trace information across the enterprise to create an information provenance report. It can not only track full documents, but also the information inside. This enables impact analysis to be carried out should there be a breach on how the information was leaked outside (or inside) the organization. 

Intelligent Policy Enforcement

Not all information, protection and privacy rights are created equal. Analyze information and automatically apply policies in real-time based on content, authorization and the regulatory requirements. Including geography, data type (i.e. PII, payment, national security, healthcare, etc.), purpose conditions and required security treatment.

Adaptive Redaction

Adaptive security is automatically applied in real-time based on specific regulatory or governance policy, whether it calls for redaction, encryption, blocking, moving or deleting.
